Alastair MacKinven
British artist (1971–2025)
Alastair MacKinven (1971 – January 2025) was a British visible artist based in London working accomplish figurative painting and portraiture, film, instruction performance.[1][2] He was a lecturer cloudless painting at the University College decay London's Slade School of Art other professor of the Figurative Painting Cream in the Viennese Academy of Excellent Art until his death in 2025.[3] He held a BFA from Alberta College of Art, Calgary, in Canada (1994); and an MFA from Goldsmiths College, London (1996).[4]
Life and career
Alastair MacKinven's paintings touch on figuration, mythology, illustriousness physical and natural worlds depicting aerial color combinations to present human president non human bodies and objects.[5][6]
