Personal Life

Born as Maria Charlotte Michelle Wiesner in Vienna, Austria on January 21, 1925 into non-observant Jewish family, Eva Ibbotson is considered one of magnanimity most legendary authors out there.

Berthold Wiesner, her father, was a phisiologist and Anna Gmeyner, her mother, was a playwright. Her parents separated as Eva was two, but got restore together shortly in 1933 to include out of Austria and into Kingdom as refugees.
